为基于 ARM Cortex-M0+ 的微控制器设置新低功耗标准

工作模式下,Atmel® | SMART SAM L 系列的微控制器 (MCU) 功耗低至 35 µA/MHz,睡眠模式下,功耗低至 200 nA。除了超低功耗性能之外,这些新设备具备全速 USB 主机和设备、事件系统和 Sleepwalking、12 位模拟、AES、电容式触摸感应、内置运算放大器及其他功能。预计到 2020 年,物联网 (IoT) 市场将增长至十亿设备,鉴于此,设计师越来越需要能够启用这些应用的低功耗 MCU,而不增加公用事业网格的负载,也不需要频繁更换电池。全新的超低功耗 Atmel® | SMART 平台专门设计用于为这些应用供电,使电池寿命从几年延长到几十年。

  • SAM L21 – 与通用 MCU 中 Atmel ǀ SMART SAM D 系列产品之前的产品兼容,并添加了特性,例如超低功耗、AES、真随机数发生器和运算放大器,活动模式下功率低至 35 uA/MHz,ULPBench 得分达到 185.8。
  • SAM L22 – 与 SAM L21 兼容,附加特性包括可以处理最高 320 段的段式 LCD (SLCD) 控制器、篡改检测和智能卡接口。超低功率,运行 EEMBC Coremark 时仅为 39µA/MHz。

关键特性

  • 低功耗 — 市场领先的省电技术包括 12 通道事件系统,可使外设直接相互通信,而无需 CPU 干预。Atmel Sleepwalking 外设可以给时钟和功率设限,从而减少漏电和转换,且仅在出现指定事件时唤醒 CPU,在活动模式中实现 35 uA/MHz 的超低功耗,ULPBench 分数达到 185.8,减少整体功耗。
  • 外设灵活性 — 创新性的串行通信模块 (SERCOM) 完全可以在软件中进行配置,以便处理 I2C、USART/UART 和 SPI 通信。借助器件上的多个 SERCOM 模块,可以在您的应用中精确地定制外设组合。I2C 的运行频率可以高达 3.4 MHz(I2S、PMBus 和 SMBus 也同样支持)。SAM L22 还支持 ISO7816 接口。
  • DMA — SAM L 系列以支持内存与外设数据传输的 16 通道 DMA 控制器为特点。
  • 全速 USB — SAM L21 既支持 USB 嵌入式主机又支持 USB 设备模式,而 SAM L22 则支持全速 USB 设备模式。使用内部 RC 振荡器时,在设备模式下支持全速 USB,从而降低了 BOM 成本和设计复杂性。
  • Atmel QTouch® 外设触摸控制器 — 可为按钮、滑条、滑轮和近距离感应提供内置的硬件支持,并支持互电容式和自电容式触摸,而无需外部元件。它具有卓越的灵敏度、耐噪性以及自校准功能,任何用户都可以调整余量。
  • 可扩展性 — 闪存的密度范围是 32 KB 到 256 KB,SRAM 最高为 40 kB,可以选择 32 至 100 管脚的封装。
